Position #1 – Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate – Mitchell, SD

Job Summary: Pull inventory for route and stock deliveries. Deliver product to ABS customers.

· Valid Drivers License with clean driving record

· Forklift certification achieved within 60 days of employment (ABS provides the training at no additional cost)

Job Duties:

· Unload freight using forklift or pallet jack

· Check shipments against packing slips

· Assist in pulling sold orders and bringing to the route vans

· Final check on pulled inventory to invoices for accuracy

· Load truck(s) so they are organized and safe from damaged

· Verify the charge tickets are finalized & C.O.D.s are on pick tickets

· Be friendly & courteous without taking too much of the customer’s time

· Complete rapid match readings as needed

· Straighten and restock the shelves in the showroom

· When not on the route: Pull orders for next route, special deliveries when needed, & report any truck issues to the operation manager

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

Ø Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with others

Ø Good organizational skills: ability to complete tasks in a given time frame

Ø Be flexible: ability to change routes if needed

Ø Ability to operate warehouse equipment- pallet jack, forklift, etc.

Ø Basic computer knowledge

Special Requirements:

Ø Be able to lift 50 lb., large bulky items such as windshields, fenders, etc.

Ø Will be exposed to different weather conditions: heat, cold, humidity or wind

Ø Will handle paints and solvents

Applicants must pass a post offer, pre-employment physical exam, background check and drug screen and will be subject to future random drug screens.
